Is this a good science fair project idea?

How does accuracy and speed differ between a wood stick and a composite stick? Would that be enough information for a grade 8 science fair? i could calculate speed and have a target to hit with a certain amount of pucks, then calculate my results in a graph. Any suggestions or help is needed thanks !
