What are the most fuel efficient sedans/hatchbacks/crossovers?

The best crossover from what I see everyday is the Honda CRV. VERY reliable, fuel efficient and they last forever IF you take care of them. RUN from any Mitsubishi unless you have deep pockets. The Cube is too new to have much of a history but the xB seems good also but they don't have as much room as you think.
