I might be getting a rabbit and I am going to keep it outside during all seasons, is that okay?

I live in Michigan and it gets pretty cold in the winter. And I'm not sure if all rabbits can live outdoors, or if just some can. The rabbit is going to be kept in a hutch and when it gets really stormy with rain or sleet or snow I would take it inside to sleep or something.
