Question about birth control?

My doctor recently switched my pills from Yasmin 28 to Lo Ovral. I have never heard of it, and I was wondering if anyone has used it what kind of luck they had with it.. Such as weight gain, effectiveness, side effects, things like that Personal experience rather than what is on the back of the box. Two people I have talked to already have gotten pregnant while on this pill.. Any information is appreciated
