AP course question ?

While a low grade in the cl won't look good, doing well on the exam makes up for a lot (and it's certainly preferred to getting an A in the cl and a 2 on the exam). If you fail the cl, you get an F, and that comes with no credits but hurts your GPA. It's unlikely the teacher will take your exam grade into account either way.
