My English Mastiff is 3 yrs old. He recently began urinating in my basement. Any suggestions ?

He is not fixed. He is not marking, because they are puddles. I let him out around midnight to do his business. I did find the proper solution to clean it up, using no ammonia based products. Once I begin the proper clean up process, how can I get him to stop? I am even consider a belly band.
