Whats "The Grove" in LA?

It's a shopping center and farmer's market combo on the old Gilmore Dairy property, it was more of a dairy farm than an orchard or grove, ( but it used to have some trees also, pre-Gilmore) Mr. Gilmore drilled a well for water for his cows and hit friggin oil, a la the Beverly Hillbillys, leading to the Gilmore Oil Company, Gilmore Stadium with the LA Stars minor league baseball team and long story short, the Dodgers, moving to LA.....It was like the town square for that era of Los Angeles.....
