Will Medicare be "gutted" or Eliminated to pay for the govt. Health Care Reform ?

According to Morris( political commentator for the right and conservatives and Republicans. "Obama's health care proposal is in effect,the repeal of the Medicare program as we know it!!" Bold face LIE! What the plan says is subsidies now being paid to advantage plans will be cut. BUT, without the subsidies the plans would become more effficient,and raise premiums and reduce benefits drawn from medicare..Thus having the ins companies more competitive..As far as medicare, there will be benefits ADDED for preventatives services and narrowing the gap known as the" donut hole!" Isn't this just more ''scare the people''tactics of the right by conservatives, Republicans,,and Health Ins. Companies afraid their going to lose their "LOCK" on Americans???
